Consumers are Powerful because Buying is Voting!

Earth provides enough to satisfy every man’s need, but not every man’s greed.” – Mahatma Gandhi

As consumers, we have a great responsibility in the choices we make every day.  Whenever we buy a product we are validating it as something we want, something we approve of, and something we want more of.

Vote Here!

Buy Quality

When we buy a cheap product that falls apart within a year, we are saying, “We like when things fall apart so we can buy it again next year!” Yet we feel confident in saying it is not what most of us want. What we want are quality products that will last! Yes, the quality product will be more expensive but in the long run it will be cheaper.

Restraint

Lets add “Restraint” to “Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle” because restraint is needed when you are confronted with this decision. As a consumer, do you buy the cheap product you can afford now or hold out until you can afford the better quality option? Whenever possible, hold out for the superior quality product.

We Have Power

We the consumers are more powerful than many realize – the way we spend our money has great influence in our society and how we decide to spend it has the potential to change everything.

If you owned a company, would you continue to produce a product or continue a service that did not seem to interest the consumer? No you would not and you would be nuts for doing so.

Vote to Change the World

The next time you go shopping be aware of what you are buying and make smart decisions – think of the checkout counter as your voting booth in any election.

Whatever you are holding, whatever you have in your shopping cart, whatever is being scanned, you are voting YES for more of it.

It’s very important that we all understand this because voting gives us the ultimate power to change the world we live in.
